Kevin Spensley, CEO/Managing Director

Kevin has more than 15 years of experience in international program management and organization development. He has worked on way too many training and technical assistance proposals for such agencies as the US Department of State, USAID, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, as well as private foundations and corporations. Fluent in French and Russian, he also developed and conducted dozens of training programs for international educators, government officials, and professionals as well as US professionals preparing to work overseas. He has worked in both NGO and for-profit sectors and specializes in Eurasia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. Kevin founded Education-SI in 2006. 

Hadija Gipaeva, Head of Moscow Office/Coordinator

Hadija Gipaeva grew up and attended university in the Russian North Ossetia. She defended her Kandidatskaya thesis in Comparative Education in June 2000 at North-Ossetian State University. After graduate school she became head of the university's International Office where she developed international programs in cooperation with educational schools of Europe and the United States. In 2003, Hadija received a prestigious Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship, which enabled her to earn an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College at Columbia University in the city of New-York. In June 2005, Hadija began work at Education-SI as Coordinator for the North American Independent School Initiative.

Tatiana Lagocheva, Coordinator

Tanya worked in the Foreign Languages University of Moscow as City Coordinator for Cambridge Exam, where she arranged and led numerous student trips to the  UK, Germany, and Spain, as well as hosted several international delegations in Moscow. She later worked for the Bank of Russia in its Department of International Relations.  She completed her degree at the Moscow Humanitarian University in 2007.  In addition to Russian, she speaks English, German, Spanish, and a bit of French.  Tanya joined Education-SI as a Russia Coordinator in 2007.
